looks like a similar design to what HRS was doing with the vortex mod. only con that i can see is that it would be sucking hotter air in theory but that doesn't seem to be too much of an issue given that i run a similar filter set up on the gl.

that is what people are saying but I like it better than HRS since the carb top remains stock...

maybe that and a hose and run the filter straight up and into the frame some how, back edge of the gas tank? something different perhaps.

however, if i'm not mistaken, your fender light is already traveling at the only speed safe to actually stop that bike :wink:

I'm thinking for when I get the brakes functional, it might keep me from cutting more of the frame... Where is that picture from?

the con ;in the odd chance that one of those screws virbates loose, that vortex sends offending piece right into your rotary pad.
