Cables!

Postby Gidget » Wed Sep 03, 2014 8:27 am

I've got my cables and need an assist to supervise the installation. Can anyone help in the very near future? I want to ride to run and they need to get broke in.

Thanks!
Michele :D

Ok.... I have a salon appointment at 4pm, but my hair does not take long at all. Will not be later than 5pm for sure. I'm gonna pick up some mechanic's wire for a nifty trick I learned. Did some research :)

Thank you! :D

if your going to get that extra long wire than I don't have to
make sure it is twice as long as the outer is
and a foot more to be safe

got her clutch cable complete swapped out and adjusted
working perfectly
hope it is "better" than the dirty gummed up "old" one that WAS lubed up when it SHOULDN'T have been lubed up.... the teflon lined cables don't need any lube. If lubed they don't work correctly and get worse fast.

oh boy

adjusted the throttle out cable a little so that her rising issue is gone... the outer would "shift" its location while riding resulting in a drop of rpms without her moving the throttle.

woot wooot
