Dustins 180ss build...

Postby Dswan » Sun Mar 01, 2015 3:07 pm

Figured I might as well post some shit up here. Here goes a bunch of pics. Hopefully this works. http://flic.kr/p/romdwN http://flic.kr/p/rqD8HT Image[img]http://flic.kr/p/r95yvA[/im]
I'm sure there is more I should post today. But lets see how this works. It's a real pain in the ass to post from an iPhone.
Plan is to strip the surface rust, fix a couple more small spots, Im going to paint it the Pantone blue - 180ss blue. It's got the origanl ulma 202 trim, that need a bit of love but I really want it on the bike.
There is fly screen, rear rack that is pretty busted, metal trap headlight grill, an extra vnb frame with title, and NSU prima motor for accessories

Well I got a couple of links there. I guess I need to figure this out.
Wax on...wax off. I'm painting the fence...Miygai!

I got the engine, It should be a pleasure to work on after working on the 180 SS mess last time. Just need to replace the usual suspects. should be a dream to reassemble.

That looks infinitely better than the last one we worked on. Will be nice to have one in the club.

Pantone has several hundred shades of blue, but I think I know which one you're going with.

I wish I had kept that TDC SS180 when I had the chance. Long gone
