as fast as the slowest rider is standard practice for most clubs
no one left behind

Often groups put their fastest rider in the back so that if anythings happens s/he can catch up to the front pack and get them to all turn around or wait... as English Dave does for us all.

Ride leaves Dutch Bros. at the corner of Coburg Rd and Willakenzie (next to Wallgreen's and Dairy Mart) at 9 a.m. 90 miles each way. come gassed-up. gas stop in Albany.

I really want to try and make it. I need to see what kind of chops the Gadget really has. I'm slightly scared of her lately cause of all the air leak issues, but I have to get it out of my system.

Geoff. That could be a viable option to let the boys get home sooner. Hope to see ya there regardless :)

that air leak I fixed a few days ago was just a loose air box
I can put some blue lock tight on those nuts before we take off

no problem

Gidget might be out for a bit if I (and anyone else who has time to give me advice) can't fix her rear rim...
it got bent where the tire bead seals onto the rims on the exhaust side.

the engine side of this old school rear rim/hub design is not like my rims... this is hub rims setup that is hub on one side and a 1/2 rim on the other side. I was going to just throw on my spare complete rim and tire but it won't work at all.

the work around, as I told her, is to split the bent rim 1/2 off the other hub side and "work" on the bent part with hammer and tools.

At least the hub side is healthy

I'll be doing what I can saterday after I do some more work on my home floors... if Tuna, Dave or Landon has time to help me do this right I would love the help. I want her to go on this ride and have fun. This is what it is all about = getting back on the road fast due to pals and the clubs help.

Call my cell saterday in the afternoon if you want peeps
